The difference between the Team Report and Group Report

Explains which reports are created when you add a team with or without a manager.

Updated this week

Overview

When you add a new team, the platform generates different Core Drivers reports depending on whether the team has a manager assigned.

Key benefits / use cases

  • Manager assigned: Get both a team report view and a group report view for broader context

  • No manager: Keep reporting focused solely on the team’s Core Drivers

  • Clear comparisons: See manager vs. team differences when a manager is assigned

Reporting

  • If the team has a manager: The platform creates two reports — Core Drivers Team Report and Core Drivers Group Report.

  • If the team has no manager: The platform creates only one team report.

What each report shows

  • Core Drivers Team Report (with a manager):

    • Team Overview focuses only on the team’s Core Drivers

    • In Team analytics, you’ll see a comparison between the manager’s Core Drivers and the team’s Core Drivers

  • Core Drivers Group Report

    • If you have a team with a manager, you can switch the view from the team report to a group report.

    • Team Overview includes the manager; the manager counts as one of the team members

    • In Team analytics, there is no comparison between the manager and the team
