Overview
Dynamo Onboarding uses AI to generate personalized onboarding goals for each new hire based on:
Assessment data
Organizational context (such as role or job title)
Every goal is unique and generated specifically for each user.
The result?
Reduced manual onboarding work
More relevant development content
Faster ramp-up for new hires
Note: Onboarding goals can only be assigned to active users and admins — not candidates.
How to assign onboarding to an active user or admin
Go to the All Users table
Select the user
Click Full profile
Open the Learning tab
Click +Assign Onboarding
Click Assign Goal to confirm
Once assigned, the onboarding goal will begin generating.
What happens after the assignment?
Goal generation may take up to 10 minutes
This may take longer if generating goals for multiple users simultaneously
While generating, the screen will display Onboarding generating
Once completed, the next time the user logs in, they’ll see their onboarding goal in the Dynamo Learning tab.
How to assign onboarding when hiring a candidate
If you’re about to hire a candidate from a Hiring campaign:
Go to the relevant Hiring campaign
Change the candidate’s status to Hired
Toggle Assign Onboarding to ON
Click Hire
This will:
Generate the onboarding goal
Change the active candidate’s status to active user
