Overview
Connect Teamtailor to Deeper Signals and let your hiring process do the legwork. Move a candidate to the right stage and their assessment invitation goes out automatically. When they finish, the result lands back on the candidate in Teamtailor.
This article walks you through the setup, then the Integration Extension, which keeps each job's candidates in their own campaign and can send reports to Teamtailor.
Key benefits

How to set up the Teamtailor integration
Before you start
ATS feature toggle must be turned on for your account
You need to be a Deeper Signals admin with permission to manage ATS integrations
Note: If Teamtailor shows "insufficient permissions" when you add a trigger, contact [email protected].
Step 1: Connect Teamtailor
1. Go to Settings - Integrations & API.
2. Under Integrations, select Edit.
3. Open the Connectors tab and choose ATS.
4. Find Teamtailor under Available Connectors and click Connect.
5. Click Create Integration and copy the Integration Token.
Important: Save the token somewhere safe now. It isn't shown again once you leave the page.
6. In Teamtailor, find Deeper Signals in the marketplace and click Activate.
7. Paste the Integration Token into the Deepersignals integration key field and click Update.
8. Back in Deeper Signals, click Complete Integration.
9. Check that Teamtailor now shows as Connected under Active Connector. You're connected.
Step 2: Choose which campaigns Teamtailor can use
Teamtailor only offers Hiring campaigns that have ATS Enabled Campaign turned on, so switch it on for every campaign you want to use from Teamtailor.
In Deeper Signals, open the hiring campaign, click the three-dot menu and choose Campaign Settings.
2. Turn on ATS Enabled Campaign and click Save.
Tip: Creating a new campaign? Turn on ATS Enabled Campaign while you set it up and skip this step later.
Step 3: Add the Deeper Signals trigger to a job
In Teamtailor, open the job and click Configure hiring process.
2. On the stage that should send the assessment, click Add trigger and choose Send DeeperSignals Assessments webhook.
3. Under Starting-point campaign, pick the Deeper Signals campaign for this job and click Add trigger.
Note: The campaign you pick here is a starting point. Deeper Signals makes a copy of it for each Teamtailor job. See “One campaign per job” below.
Step 4: Send invitations and see results
Move a candidate to the stage. They receive the Deeper Signals invitation by email.
When the candidate completes the assessment, the result appears on the candidate in Teamtailor. Click See results to open it in Deeper Signals.
Teamtailor Integration Extension
The Integration Extension adds two features to the Teamtailor integration:
One campaign per job: automatic for every Teamtailor integration, with nothing to set up
Reports in Teamtailor: optional report links and report PDFs
One campaign per job
The campaign you pick in the trigger is just a starting point. The first candidate on a job creates a copy of it named “Teamtailor - <job title> - <job id>”.
Later candidates from that job join the same campaign, so each job's candidates stay together.
The copy keeps the starting points:
Assessments
Reports
Reminders
Job role
Notification recipients
You can edit it in Campaigns like any other campaign.
Note: Once a job has its own campaign, the Deeper Signals trigger on that job shows the campaign's name instead of the campaign list.
Send reports to Teamtailor (optional)
Want your team to open the full reports straight from Teamtailor? You can add report links to the Teamtailor result and attach report PDFs to the candidate's profile. Both are off by default.
Important: Report links are public. Anyone with a link can open the report without logging in to Deeper Signals.
Choose which reports to send
In Deeper Signals, go to Settings.
Click Integrations & API.
Under Integrations, select Edit.
Click Report Mapping.
Turn on ATS Integration for the summary report, and tick ATS for each report Teamtailor should receive.
Create a Teamtailor API key (for PDFs)
To attach PDFs, you need a Teamtailor API key. A Teamtailor admin needs to create it.
In Teamtailor, go to Settings > Integrations > API keys.
Check Base URL for the API to find your region: api.teamtailor.com means EU and api.na.teamtailor.com means North America.
3. Click New API key and give it a name, for example, “Deeper Signals reports”.
4. Set API scope to Admin, tick Read and Write, then click Create and copy the key.
Important: Teamtailor doesn't let you change the scope or permissions later, so double-check them before you click Create.
Turn on reports in Deeper Signals
Back in Deeper Signals, go to Settings.
Click Integrations & API.
Under Integrations, select Edit.
Click Connectors.
Click ATS.
Click Manage on the Teamtailor card.
7. Turn on Include report links in the Teamtailor result and, for PDFs, Attach report files to the candidate profile.
8. Choose your Teamtailor region and paste the key into Company API token.
9. Click Save, then Test Connection.
That's it. From the next completed assessment, the result in Teamtailor lists a link to each report, and the PDFs appear under the candidate's Documents.
Important: Keep the API key private. Deeper Signals only shows it as Configured, and our support team will never ask for it.
Troubleshooting
Teamtailor rejects a PDF upload
The result and the report links are still delivered. The last error shows in Manage on the Teamtailor card.
Teamtailor stops accepting the API key
Create a new API key in Teamtailor and paste it into Manage.
FAQs
Do I need to set up a campaign for each Teamtailor job?
No. Deeper Signals creates one automatically from your starting-point campaign when the first candidate on a job comes through.
Why can't I see my campaign in Teamtailor?
Teamtailor only offers Hiring campaigns with ATS Enabled Campaign turned on. Turn it on in the campaign's Campaign Settings.
Can I edit the campaign Deeper Signals creates for a job?
Yes. You can edit it in Campaigns like any other campaign.
Who can open the report links in Teamtailor?
Anyone with a link. Report links are public and don't need a Deeper Signals login.
How do I know which Teamtailor region to choose?
In Teamtailor, go to Settings > Integrations > API keys and check the Base URL for the API.
