What’s new

ADMIN - SETTINGS - INTEGRATIONS & API

INTEGRATIONS

We're excited to announce that Deeper Signals now offers a native integration with Workday HRIS and ATS — one of the world's leading enterprise applicant tracking and recruiting platforms. This integration creates a seamless, end-to-end assessment workflow directly within your existing Workday environment, eliminating manual data transfers and reducing friction for both recruiters and candidates.

The integration operates across three key stages:

  1. Retrieve — Deeper Signals automatically pulls candidate assessment assignments directly from Workday ATS, meaning recruiters no longer need to manage invitations or track candidates across separate platforms.

  2. Process — Candidates complete their Deeper Signals assessments through our platform.

  3. Return — Once complete, assessment results are automatically sent back into Workday ATS, surfacing rich talent insights directly within the recruiter's existing workflow.

Account Integrations and ATS Integrations have been merged into a single settings page called Integrations. It includes tab-based navigation, global search, connector visibility rules, and proper connector tagging.

There can be only one active connector per integration type:

  • Max 1 active HRIS connector.

  • Max 1 active ATS connector.

INTEGRATION REPORT MAPPING

Integration Report Mapping allows you to:

  • Control whether summary reports are sent to your HRIS/ATS.

  • Choose which competency reports are sent. If no reports are selected, all active competency reports will be sent by default.

  • Define which assessment reports (PDFs) are sent. If no specific report is selected, the default report will be sent.

Note: You can configure this separately for ATS and HRIS integrations.

ADMIN - SETTINGS - ACCOUNT SETTINGS - MANAGE ROLES & PERMISSIONS

ROLES

Two new permissions have been added to user roles:

1. View all users (bypass hierarchy) Allows admins to bypass the enforced hierarchy configured through the HRIS integration.

2. View organizational hierarchy tree (full unrestricted view of the org tree, access overview, and view-as-user functionality) Allows admins to access the tree view, access overview, and view-as-user functionality configured through the HRIS integration.

Note: Both permissions are enabled by default for the Account Owner role only. If hierarchy has not been configured through the HRIS integration and hierarchy access control has not been enforced on the account, these permissions will have no effect.

ACCESS & VISIBILITY

Account Owners can now enforce hierarchy access control on their account. If your organizational structure is synced to the platform via an HRIS integration, you can restrict admin access based on that structure — meaning admins will only have access to their organizational hierarchy subordinates.

TREE VIEW

Use this tab to:

  • Monitor total users in hierarchy and users with access control filters

  • See how many direct and indirect reports each user has

  • Rebuild hierarchy if your org structure changes

Note: This tab won’t be visible unless hierarchy access control has been enforced on the account.

ACCESS FILTERS

Use this tab to:

  • View all users with active filters

  • See how many filters are applied per user

  • Edit or review filter configurations

Note: This tab won’t be visible if there are no users with assigned AC filters on your account.

USER LOOKUP

Use this tab to:

  • Quickly search for a specific user to check their current visibility settings

  • Use the “View as user” feature to see which users this admin can view in the All users table based on their assigned filters

AUTO ROLE ASSIGNMENTS

We’ve introduced Auto Role Assignments to help you automatically manage user roles based on HRIS and ATS data—so the right people always have the right level of access, without manual updates.

Auto Role Assignments lets you define rules that automatically assign roles to users based on their responsibilities, such as:

  • Team Managers (from HRIS integrations or file imports)

  • Hiring Managers (from ATS job requisitions)

  • Recruiters (from ATS integrations)

Once configured, users who meet the criteria will automatically receive the appropriate role.

  • Each rule is tied to a trigger type (e.g., Team Manager, Hiring Manager, Recruiter).

  • You choose which role should be assigned for each trigger.

  • When a user matches the trigger condition, they are automatically assigned that role.

If a user qualifies for multiple roles in your ATS, the system assigns the highest-priority role based on this order: Recruiter → Hiring Manager → Team Manager. For example, if a user qualifies as both a Team Manager and a Recruiter according to ATS data, they will be assigned the Recruiter role in Deeper Signals.

  • Users will only be upgraded, never downgraded automatically.

  • Manually assigned roles always take precedence and won’t be overridden.

ADMIN - ALL USERS - USER PROFILE - ACCESS & TAGS - ROLES

The Roles section has been redesigned to make it easier to review and manage available roles for each user.

CORE NUMERICAL REASONING ASSESSMENT

We’re excited to announce that the Core Numerical Reasoning Assessment has officially moved out of beta and is now fully released.

CORE NUMERICAL AND CORE VERBAL REASONING REPORT

For accounts that already have Verbal and Numerical Reasoning assessments enabled, reports for both assessments will be automatically assigned.

What’s improved

NEW REPORT USER INTERFACE

Assessment reports have a new look. The updated interface improves clarity and usability, while the updated PDF layout eliminates unnecessary page breaks for a smoother, more consistent experience across all languages. This change is automatic and will apply to all existing and future reports.

Why did we make this change?

  • Make reports easier to scan and understand. Organizing content by Driver/Value makes the story clearer at a glance and helps people find impactful content faster.

  • Help users focus on what matters most. Many readers do not get to the end of long reports. A driver-based structure brings key insights forward and makes the flow more intuitive.

  • Create a more consistent experience across reports. A standardized structure reduces confusion and makes it easier to compare results across drivers/values and report types.

  • Improve long-term maintainability and scalability. A clearer, more consistent structure makes it simpler to create new reports and keep the full report suite up to date.

CORE DRIVERS PRO REPORT

The definition and feedback content for the Moral subdriver have been refined to improve clarity.
