Base email template

Configure the master email layout used across all outgoing emails.

Overview

The Base Email Template controls the shared layout applied to all outgoing emails.

It helps maintain a consistent brand experience by automatically adding your organization's header and footer to every email, while allowing campaign-specific content to appear in the middle.

The template includes:

  • Header section for branding elements such as your company logo and header text

  • Content area where campaign-specific email content is automatically inserted

  • Footer section for compliance information, company details, and custom links


Access the Base Email Template

  1. Navigate to Settings

  2. Select Notifications

  3. Click Base Email Template

  4. Select Edit


Understand the Template Preview

The preview displays how your emails will appear when sent.


Header section

The header appears at the top of every outgoing email.

You can use it to display:

  • Company logo

  • Header text

To update the header:

  1. Click Header Section

  2. Edit or remove the header text

  3. Click Save


Note: Your company logo is automatically pulled from your Personalization settings. If no logo is configured, the logo from the parent account is displayed.


Content area

The content area displays sample content for preview purposes.

This section:

  • Cannot be edited from the Base Email Template screen

  • Displays campaign content placement within the email layout

  • Helps visualize spacing and formatting before sending emails


Footer section

The footer appears at the bottom of every outgoing email.

You can include:

  • Footer text

  • Privacy Policy link

  • Terms of Service link

  • Custom footer links

To update the footer:

  1. Click Footer Section

  2. Edit the footer content

  3. Click Save


Note: You can add up to three custom footer links.
