DS Platform updates (September 07, ‘26)

Release notes for Sep 07, 2026 - an overview of DS Platform updates, improvements, and fixes across the product.

What’s improved

ADMIN - CAMPAIGNS - MANAGE USERS - SCORES & REPORTS

  • Admins can now open the full reports for any assessment assigned to the campaign, directly from a user's profile within that campaign — no need to leave the campaign to find it.

Note: The changes listed below only affect accounts with an active ATS integration, enforced hierarchy control, and /or auto role assignment configured.

What’s new

ADMIN - ATS ENABLED HIRING CAMPAIGNS

Campaign Access Now Includes All Candidates Within It

  • Previously, a recruiter or hiring manager could have access to a campaign but not be able to see the candidates inside it, since candidate visibility was governed by hierarchy-based access control. Now, anyone with access to a campaign (via ownership, AC filters, or hierarchy) automatically sees all candidates within it.

  • Access also propagates upward through the management chain — so if a hiring manager has access to a campaign, their manager and everyone above them in that chain gains visibility into its candidates too. This applies to candidate data only; employee data outside of campaigns continues to be governed by the existing hierarchy rules.

  • Note: Both rules apply to candidates only. Employee data access remains strictly governed by the hierarchy tree.

Internal Candidates Are Now Visible to Recruiters in Hiring Campaigns

  • When an existing employee is added to a hiring campaign as an internal candidate, recruiters can now see them in the campaign's candidate table alongside external candidates.

  • Outside of that specific campaign, internal candidates remain just as protected as before — their employee profile, results, and reports stay hidden from anyone who couldn't already see them through the organization’s hierarchy.

Employees Are Notified When Added to a Campaign as an Internal Candidate

  • Previously, if an existing employee was added to a hiring campaign, their existing assessment results became visible in that campaign immediately, with no notice to the employee. Now, employees receive a notification as soon as they're added to a campaign as an internal candidate, letting them know which campaign they've been added to and that their existing results will be visible in that context.

What’s fixed

USER - TEAM REPORT

Resolved an issue on accounts using enforced hierarchy control where, in certain cases, a team's manager did not appear in that team's member list on the team report when the manager was above them in the hierarchy.

ADMIN - WORKDAY ATS INTEGRATION

Resolved an issue affecting internal candidates on Workday-connected accounts: if an internal candidate's assessments completed in stages around the time they were marked as hired, some later results could fail to reach their candidate record. All results now reliably reach the candidate record regardless of timing.
