Create email templates

To edit the email invite templates used in assessment invites and reminders, go to “Settings” - “Personalization” - ”Email templates” - ”Edit”.

How to create an email template

To create a new template, click on the "+" button.

After that, you can start editing your template with a simple drag and drop interface. You can change the logo, add pictures, buttons, and so on.

If you want to insert dynamic text to make it more personalized, for example, the name of the recipient, you can do it by using “Merge Tags” - ”Invite” - ”First Name”.

You can also select the language of the template from those that we support. Once you’re done editing, click “Save”.


Note: Do not delete the “Start the assessment” button and Additional email content. You can delete everything else but that.


Another thing you can do is create alternatives for the different languages within one template. For example, you created your template in English and saved it. After that, you can change the language to French, edit the template in French, and save it again. That way you’ll have the same template (for example, the template you send when inviting someone to take an assessment) but in two different versions, English and French.

What this does is the following - if you send this invite template to someone whose browser is in French, they’ll see the French version, not the English version.


Note: If you want to delete a template, and you have versions of it in multiple languages, you need to separately delete versions in all languages.
