Why VPNs cause issues

If you are using a VPN while accessing the Deeper Signals platform, you may encounter problems retrieving your results after completing an assessment.

To prevent this, turn off your VPN while using the platform, if possible.

VPN kill switches

Most premium VPNs include a kill switch that disconnects your internet if the VPN connection drops.

  • This prevents your public IP from leaking.

  • However, it also means your WiFi may turn off repeatedly if the VPN connection is unstable.

Common causes of unstable VPN connections

If your VPN keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, it is usually because data packets are being lost or blocked between your device and the VPN server. This can be due to:

  • Issues with the VPN client

  • Problems with your router

  • Network connection instability

How to fix VPN issues

Try these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Update your VPN or router software.

  2. Change VPN settings (e.g., switch servers or protocols).

  3. Disable power-saving features on your device that may disrupt the connection.
