The difference between Core Drivers Pro and Core Drivers report
Updated over a week ago

This article explains the difference between our two reports - Core Drivers Pro and Core Drivers. If you want to upgrade users from the Core Drivers versions of the report to the Pro versions (or vice versa), you can see how to do that in this article.

Core Drivers Pro

  • The Deeper Dive section shows percentile scores for the Core Drivers, Core Risks, Sub-Drivers, and Secondary Drivers

  • The Core Risks section explains each risk, shows the risk level, and describes behaviors to watch

  • The Leadership section focuses on how to manage risks that could impact leadership and decision making

CD

Core Drivers

  • The Core Drivers user report focuses on the top three Drivers (same as the Pro report), but there is no Deeper Dive section of the report that goes into more detail about Sub-drivers or Secondary Drivers

  • There is no Core Risks section of the report

  • There is no Leadership section

  • Users still have access to Learning Journeys and Digital Coach

CD

When should I use Core Drivers instead of Core Drivers Pro?

  • Use CD if you want your feedback conversation to focus on someone’s strengths, for example, during onboarding.

  • CD may be more appropriate for less senior employees who do not manage other people.

  • Use CD if you don’t plan on facilitating a 1:1 debrief, and the user’s journey is self-directed.

  • Upgrade to CD Pro after your 1:1 debrief when the participant has a better understanding of their results.

  • Use CD Pro for executive coaching engagements and workshops in which you discuss results in detail.

  • CD Pro may be the better option for senior leaders who are more familiar with assessments and already aware of their strengths and risks.
