Merge user with imported (HRIS) user

Combine a personal email account with a work email from your HRIS feed.

Overview

If a user completed an assessment using their personal email and later appears in your HRIS import with a work email, you can merge the two accounts.

This ensures their assessment results are transferred to their work email account — keeping everything clean and centralized.

When should you use this?

  • A candidate completed an assessment using a personal email

  • The same person is now an employee in your HRIS

  • You want their results tied to their official work email

Important: You must be an Account Owner to be able to merge users.

Note: Users can only be merged if the imported HRIS user is still in Pending status. If both users are in Active status, they can't be merged.
