Create a candidate selection campaign

Create recruitment campaigns to assess candidates, compare results, and support hiring decisions.

Overview

Candidate Selection campaigns help you evaluate job candidates using scientifically validated assessments. You can choose a predefined role to automatically configure recommended competencies and assessments, or build a custom campaign from scratch.

Key benefits

  • Use research-backed role templates

  • Measure competencies relevant to the role

  • Assign assessments automatically

  • Provide assessment reports to candidates

  • Track candidate progress

  • Receive completion notifications

Create a candidate selection campaign

To create a new Candidate Selection campaign:

  1. Go to Campaigns.

  2. Click + New invite campaign.

  3. Select Candidate Selection.

Name your campaign

Enter a unique name for your campaign, then click Next.

Select a role

Choose one of the predefined roles to automatically configure the recommended competencies and assessments for that position.

Alternatively, you can skip this step and build your own campaign manually.

Click Next to continue.

Select competencies

If you selected a predefined role, you'll see the competencies recommended for that role based on academic research.

You can:

  • Keep the recommended competencies

  • Add additional competencies that are important for your hiring process

Click Next when you're finished.

Add assessments

The required assessments for your selected role are added automatically.

You can also include additional assessments if you'd like to gather more information about candidates.

Click Next to continue.

Select reports

Choose which reports candidates will receive after completing their assessments.

For example:

  • Core Drivers Pro – Full report

  • Core Drivers – Short report

Important: Select only one version of each report type. Otherwise, candidates may receive multiple reports for the same assessment (for example, select either Core Drivers Pro or Core Drivers, not both).

Note: If you don't select any reports, candidates will complete their assessments but won't automatically receive a report.

Click Next when you're finished.

Configure additional settings

Add tags

Tags help you organize participants and make filtering easier later. When you add a tag to a campaign, every participant in that campaign is assigned that tag.

Enable completion notifications

Turn on Notify on completion if you want to receive an email whenever a participant completes all assessments assigned in this campaign.

You can select:

  • Yourself

  • Other administrators who should receive notifications

Click Complete when you’re finished.

Finish creating the campaign

Click Go to campaign to finish creating your campaign.

Invite candidates

After creating the campaign, you can begin inviting candidates.

  1. Open your campaign.

  2. Click Invite.

You can then choose whether to:

  • Invite participants by email

  • Generate a shareable invite link
